A Visit with the Super 8 Motel of Temple
Travis and Pat McCollough had a visit with the Super 8 Motel in Temple and this is some of the things they found. The motel has many years of experience in hosting fishing tournaments. They are going to reserve all the downstairs, back rooms for the Texas Bass Couples where the boats can be left hooked up with your pull vehicle . There are many electric plugs in this area for charging your batteries. The rooms have refrigerators, coffee pots, microwaves, ironing boards and hair dryers in all the rooms and are very roomy and clean. There is also an indoor exercise weight room for you to get in shape for your days on the lake. Super 8 Motel will have a continental breakfast every morning and they are accustom to having it ready around 5:00 am. Also next door is one of the best Mexican Food Restaurants there is and Pat said the food smelled so good.Travis and Pat mentioned that the owner of the Super 8 Motel was great ,and he is going to be a pleasure to work with. As they were visiting the motel a police officer, on his routine patrol, was a visible presence and the owner stated that they have never had any problems. Sound like a great place for the Texas Bass Couples to stay during the 2008 Championship or on any other trip to the area.
